Inspired by C. S. Lewis's four facets of love - affection, friendship, eros and charity - the performance brought Bollywood together with Indian folk forms including Ghoomar, Chari, Tera Taali, Garba and Bhangra, as well as semi-classical movement drawing on Kathak. The production was directed and choreographed by Swapnil Dagliya for ABC Bollywood Company.

Many forms of love, many languages of movement
In Ghent, I joined The Four Loves as a guest performer and stepped into a production that let many Indian dance traditions speak to one another. Moving between Bollywood energy, folk rhythms and semi-classical detail, I experienced the work as a celebration of love in its many forms and of how movement can carry culture across borders.
