2. Data processed on this website

Website operation

When a page is requested, the web server may process the IP address, time, requested address, response status and browser or device information. This is needed to deliver the website, diagnose errors and protect it against misuse. The site uses only technically necessary session, security, CSRF and language cookies. It does not use advertising cookies, analytics or behavioural tracking.

Contact form

The contact form collects the name, email address, subject and message that you enter. The website sends the message by email and does not store its content in the application database. To limit spam and repeated submissions, it stores a one-way fingerprint derived from the IP address and email address, the time and whether delivery succeeded. These rate-limit records are deleted after 30 days.

Class registrations and attendance

For a trial or paid class, the website processes the booking contact's name, email address, optional phone number and preferred language; the participant's name and selected age band; the selected class, pass and period; booking and attendance status; price, currency and discount information; and the accepted terms version and acceptance time. For teenagers, the adult booking contact is recorded separately. Staff may add operational notes where necessary to administer the class.

Payments through Mollie

Paid bookings use Mollie B.V. as payment service provider. The transaction amount, currency, description and booking reference are sent to Mollie. Depending on the chosen payment method, Mollie and its payment partners also process payment details, IP address, device information and payer details entered on the hosted payment page. Mollie and Pranali each act as an independent controller for their own processing. This website stores Mollie references, status information and limited event data, but never card numbers, security codes or online-banking credentials. See Mollie's privacy statement. No payment data is sent to Mollie for the free Kick-Off Class.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer enquiries and manage registrations, payments, attendance and refunds. This is needed to take requested steps before a booking and to provide the booked classes.
  • To keep accounting, payment and transaction records where the law requires it.
  • To operate and secure the website, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, keep reliable booking records and answer other artistic or professional enquiries. The legitimate interests are secure operation, effective communication and the orderly administration of a dance class programme.

The site currently sends no newsletter and uses no personal data for third-party advertising.

4. Recipients

Access is limited to Pranali and authorised technical administrators who need it. Data may also be processed by the hosting and infrastructure provider, the transactional email provider, the mailbox provider, Mollie and the payment method partners selected by the payer. Professional advisers or public authorities receive data only where this is necessary or legally required. Personal data is not sold.

5. Processing outside the EEA

The primary application and payment processing are intended to use European providers. An email, infrastructure or payment partner may nevertheless process limited data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the provider must rely on a lawful transfer mechanism such as an adequacy decision or EU standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

  • Contact-form message content is kept in the receiving mailbox only as long as needed to answer and follow up, normally no longer than 12 months unless the enquiry leads to a contract or legal issue. Rate-limit fingerprints are kept for 30 days.
  • Trial and class administration data is kept while needed for the class and reasonable follow-up, then reviewed for deletion or anonymisation.
  • Payment, refund, terms-acceptance and accounting evidence is generally retained for the applicable Austrian statutory period, commonly seven years.
  • Raw payment-provider event payloads are removed after 365 days; the minimum references and status history may remain with the transaction evidence.

Data is deleted or anonymised earlier where it is no longer needed and no legal obligation or active claim requires retention.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn for the future. Some data cannot be deleted immediately where it is needed for an active booking, legal retention duty or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Use the contact form to make a request.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority at www.dsb.gv.at.

8. Required data and automated decisions

Required registration fields are needed to reserve and administer a place. The phone number is optional. If required data is not provided, the booking cannot be completed. This website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects and does not profile visitors.

9. Changes

This notice is updated when the website, providers or processing activities change. The current version and date are published on this page.
