My teaching starts with a warm-up and with the story or feeling behind the choreography. I introduce the steps in manageable sections and give the class time to practise each sequence until it feels confident. We then connect the sections and finish by revisiting the complete choreography together, so technique, musicality and expression can grow into one performance.
Infant Jesus School Pune
At Infant Jesus School in Pune, I taught children aged nine to thirteen a Bollywood choreography to Banno Tera Swagger. The class gave the young dancers space to build confidence, enjoy the music and perform together as an ensemble.
